NOTD: Sally Hansen Nail Prism - Pink Rose Diamond!

Hey girls! I'd like to start off by saying I am so sorry for being MIA again for the past week or so. :( All my manis lately have sucked and I've only been wearing them for like, 12 hours or less before I remove it, or I've just been wearing no polish so I haven't had any NOTDs to post! :( I feel terrible especially since I've seemed to gain a lot of followers and readers in the past week so helloooo to all of you lovely ladies. :)

Today I received a package in the mail that I was SUUUUPER excited for! :D Of course it was a polish and of course I had to put it on right away. ;) It was a Sally Hansen Nail Prism polish!! The Nail Prisms are all holographic or duochrome polishes, you can see more of them here on NailXchange's blog. :)
I bought mine on eBay at a great price so if you want one, definitely head over there because some of them are pretty reasonably priced! Some of the more rare ones obviously cost more (some of them a LOT) however. I think this is one of the most common Nail Prisms and the easiest to get your hands on, but I don't care because it is BEAUTIFUL, and my first proper linear holographic polish! And it did not disappoint. :) I was so happy that the sun was out for most of the day because I think we have rain for the rest of the week! :(

Click 'read more' to see more swatches and more info about this beautiful holographic polish! :)

This is Pink Rose Diamond, a dark-ish pink linear holographic! Apparently there are two versions of this that have been seen, a darker and lighter version. The one I have is the darker one and judging from the pictures I've seen, I like this one better. One of the lovely ladies I follow on Instagram, Gaby, (definitely go check out her page, her nails are gorgeous!) recommended that I layer this over a purple polish so I did! I was planning to layer it over something anyway because I don't want to waste such a gorgeous (and "vintage! So adorable!" high five if you got that reference. I'm sure every girl will, my sister definitely would!) polish, since it would be pretty sheer on its own. So I'd definitely say to layer this one over a purple or hot pink or something! :) I layered it over Essence - Break Through.
I do loooove me some holographic nails. I will wear this one more in summer because the sun will always be out. :) Maybe I could even try it over a neon! Neon holographic, that would be AWESOME! :D

This polish also looks really gorgeous in the shade as well, though! :) I hate that some holographics look really ugly in the shade and pretty in the sun. :( At least some of the ones I've seen are like that. A lot of holographics look super silvery or grey in the shade, but this one stays purple-looking. :)

I definitely want to try and get my hands on some more of the Nail Prisms! If anyone knows exactly when these were around, let me know because I'm curious and can't find a lot of info (okay, barely any!) about them online! Sally Hansen really needs to bring out more polishes like this, they are AMAZING.
I really want to get my hands on THIS ONE swatched by NailXchange!

By the way, I've updated my wish list page and am interested in doing a couple of small international swaps in the next few weeks! If you can easily get your hands on any of the polishes I have on my wish list and would like to do a swap & get your hands on some Aussie polishes (or something else, doesn't have to be polish! :)) please feel free to email me at the address on the swap page. :)

Thanks so much for reading & I hope you'll follow me if you like what you see! :D
